Thank You. New Anidroc Release.

Anidroc released 'Thank You', a video for the track off their latest album SkAnidroC Lp (2017) on St.Valentine's day 2018. The track is a reggae, ska classic style tune recorded at Anidroc Studios. Following the release of the title track 'Ska And Rock' and 'So Far', 'Thank You' is the third video to be released.  This is another A.M.P. production in collaboration with Anidroc film. The Video features Anidroc's Berry and turns this song of thanks into a love song. 'Originally the song was about showing gratitude to all those who crossed my path in life and without whom I would not be the man I am," Mario Anidroc comments. "However, how could I not be thankful to my darling Berry?" So the idea caught on. Footage was hunted down and presented as a surprise, inspiring the idea of giving it a film reel look and the release date set for ST. Valentines.

The Lyrics are by Mario Anidroc.

Thank You.

I have found, no better way to,
Say thank you.
For another lovely day.
I have found no better words to thank you.
For another great day to thank you.

No better way, no better way,
To say 'Thank You.'

The Video can be found on YouTube and other media platforms and right here below.

Other Side of Town Anidroc Video Release.

Anidroc has released a new video for "Other Side of Town" from the LP 'My Prayer.' The lyrics are about the bridges that people break down. These bridges that man burns and the walls he builds separate people, ruin people's lives, makes us ignorant, intolerant, brutal, violent and their consequence is misery, hatred and war. It is intended as a message to those who are responsible for taking such decisions, the world and political leaders to think about the human suffering and the repercussions of their actions for present and future generations. Forced immigration, forced slavery, forced separation, the biggest enemy to making is ourkind.

The video is a cartoon, ragged and film grained, produced by Anidroc Film Productions to visualise the theme. The track was recorded at Anidroc Studios Szczecin Poland 2015 and will be the last track from the 'My Prayer' LP of that same year. Anidroc Studios have moved to the idyllic island of Malta where work on the new Anidroc Album is reaching its end.

ANIDROC - Mario Cordina
Jagoda Beltrani-Cordina
"My face is all over this video. I have always wanted to have a cartoon of myself." Mario Cordina, vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist and basically the heart of Anidroc, AMP Productions and Anidroc Film comments. "The reason why this video took so long to come out was that there was an idea to use people from different nationalities but it was a little too windblown and time and financial restraints held the production back. So we took a very different tangent and turned back to our animation workshop crew just as we had done for the 'So Much For Love' video. We just decided to try cartoons and figure a way of animating them and make them tell the grim story and message that fit this song so well. Apart from my face there is also the cartoon of Jagoda Beltrani Cordina, and other characters in traditional Asian, Arab and Indian Costume. We are all one people."

Other Side of Town
lyrics: Mario Cordina for ANIDROC

I hear, they're burning down bridges,
On the other side of town.
I guess they've got their reasons,
For burning the bridges down.
Yes, I guess they've got their reasons,
For cutting us off, the other side of town.

I guess I won't be able to get to work,
On the other side of town.
Giess I won't be able to see my friends,
On the other side of town.
Guess I won't be able to see her,
On the other side of town.
Maybe me and you is all over,
Me on one side,
You on the other side of town.

Shall I go down to the river,
See them burn the bridges down?
Maybe me and you is all over,
Me on one side,
You on the other side of town.

So Much For Love

Anidroc has released a new Video Single entitled "So Much For Love" today Tuesday November 15th. The song is an Anidroc original recorded at Anidroc Studios and comes from the 'My Prayer' Album released in December 2015. So "Much for Love" is the fourth single to be released from this album after "Bombdropper," "Under Your Steel" and "My Prayer." It is an 80's style retro rock pop anthem with the characteristically haunting Anidroc vocals.

The lyrics centre around the refrain refection on "So much for love when revenge awakes." It's a desperate and angry cry of anguish at a love gone down wrong alley. Love is compared to a wasteland where all dreams have run barren and when this happens the lovelorn person howls with a hunger ready to bite. (Full lyrics below video)
The "So Much For Love" video takes the song to a new dimension and features Ben Dage, a successful musician on tour with his band and his fiancee Giselle. However things take on a evil turn when political events at home turn his people, The Faceless into an oppressed and persecuted race by the Voiceful in Anidroc City. What will happen when the singer's revenge awakes?

The Video introduces Berrydroc News performed by the charming Jagoda Beltrani Anidroc. The video is supposed to portray a surrealistic image of real events in today's world without any direct reference to specific countries or people. It is concerned with the human tragedy created by warfare and political mongering. The Voiceful, those who carry weight in world politics and power over the Faceless, those who get brushed thoughtlessly aside in their wake.

Directed by Mario Cordina, "So Much For Love" the Anidroc Crew also worked in collaboration with Clothes Pegs, Bandages, Old Unseemly Socks, Duck Tape, Blue Tac, Toothpicks, Toilet Paper, Carton and Scissors.

The "So Much for Love" Video is also being used as a Anidroc Film tutorial entitled 'How to Make a Film from Nothing." The tutorial will demonstrate how to make films on a tight budget through a mix of still animation and other tricks used in the making if this video.

Lyrics

"So Much For Love"
by Anidroc

So Much for Love

My joy, my pain,
Washed in the cold, cold rain,
My life, my worthless life,
Is all you stand to gain.
My flesh, my blood,
Is all here for you to take,
My rage, in my cage,
Is the one thing you cannot break.

And so much for love,
That ego breaks,
And so much for love,
When revenge awakes.

My hopes, my dreams,
Riding on a nightmare,
My eyes, my smiles,
Down an abyss on a bottom stair.
My love, my love,
Cries out in a desert night.
My rage in my cage,
Hungry howls ready to bite.

And so much for love,
That ego breaks,
And so much for love,
When revenge awakes.

Sing goodbye

Andiroc My Prayer (Our Story) Video Release

Andiroc has released it's title track 'My Prayer' from the 2015 album with the same name on the 9th of September 2016. The track is an original Anidroc tune by Andiroc, lyrics by Mario Cordina. Recorded at Anidroc studios in Jana Z Kolna in Szczecin, Poland.

The video is a double release with My Prayer Our Story being the first part of two films starring Jagoda Beltrani Andiroc and Mario Andiroc. Guest stars include John Perkins, Sharon Naudi, Ramon Naudi and Amanda Hsu. The film is directed by Mario Cordina for Anidroc and features photos by Amanda Hsu.

The story is that of a man writing a prayer of love and sending it as a message in a bottle floating on the waves, to be picked up by a woman in some other part of the world. The pictures evolve round the real wedding scenes and emotions filmed on the 6th of August 2016 when Jagoda Beltrani Andiroc and Mario Andiroc joined their hands in marriage on St.Paul's Island in Malta.

"'My Prayer' is a very personal and emotional album throughout. Both of us thought that it was a fitting end to the album and a fitting theme for its video. Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think that this song composed about two years ago would ever encapsulate such an important moment in our lives." Mario Anidroc.

"Mario's prayer seemed to echo my own thoughts and feelings when I heard it the first time. It felt so close to my own perception of love in personal life and beyond. We had known each other for a long time, this song just brought us that step closer to each other." Jagoda Beltrani Anidroc.

"At the end of the day music is about sharing and we decided to share this moment in time with all of you." Mario Anidroc.

My Prayer
Lyrics ( Andiroc)

I pray for love,
May it save me from harm,
Keep me warm, keep me sane,
Make me forget,
Soothe and brush away the pain.

And I pray for love,
May it carry me home.
Share my hopes, share my bed,
That I may find,
A goal, a road ahead.

I pray for love,
Is there love out there?
Will you carry me home,
Will you give me someone,
To care for?

Watch the video and wish the Andiroc couple the best of life to come.

Anidroc Under Your Steel Release

Anidroc has officially released 'Under Your Steel,' today March 1st 2016, a track taken from the LP 'My Prayer' released last year in 2015.

The video is about a mystical majko girl wandering lost in a magical garden whilst an all seer wizard sees through her painted smile. We follow the sad innuendoes in her face and the sudden despair as her armour starts to crack. She is like a bird in a beautiful cage that tears at the bars tormented by the presence of the all seer. The roles are acted out by Anidroc's lead singer Mario Cordina and actress Jagoda Beltrani.

Under Your Steel was recorded at Anidroc Studios under the A.M.P. label as part of the 'My Prayer' Lp 2015. Performed by Anidroc (music / lyrics Mario Cordina), the song is about denial in the face of odds. Soon the cracking armour will lose its steel. The video is an A.M.P. production in collaboration with Anidroc Film.

Below you can find film shot information, the lyrics, the film and making of video.

The 'Japanese' scenes were shot in the Garden of Serenity Sta. Lucia, making use of its pagoda's and Chinese Asian decor to reflect the majko make-up and oriental mystical look.
The blowing of the veil and the tea drinking scene were shot at l'Aħrax tal-Mellieħa. The aloe vera family plants inspired the leaf like hands of the all seer.
The lantern late evening scenes were shot in Buskett Gardens with the leaf coloured arch and the forest like aura of this exquisite forest originally built by the Knights of St.John.

The ending scene was shot at Sa Maison Gardens also known as Tal-Milorda, with the steel gate imprisoning the Majko within the walls of her cage.
Under Your Steel
Lyrics: Mario Cordina

And you say that you don't love me,
And you say that you don't need me,
And you say so many things that are not real.
And you say that you don't feel right
And that you won't sleep with me tonight,
And you're looking like a driver that has lost her wheel.
And I feel,
You're breaking under your steel.

Is your cracking armour losing steel,
Is it getting harder to stick to your wheel,
And I feel,
You're breaking under your steel.

Higher Ground

Anidroc has just released it's new track 'Higher Ground' Lyrics included below together with the link to the track.

Higher Ground
Lyrics Anidroc

Try to find a place to hide.
The clouds have taken the rain for a ride.
And now see us all, run inside,
Listening to the wind roaring outside.

Try to get on higher ground,
Try to keep safe and sound.
Somewhere where the water won't get you.

Try to get on higher ground,
Try to keep safe and sound.
Try to find somewhere dry,
Somewhere where the water won't get you.
Try to get on higher ground,
Try to keep safe and sound.

Try to get a wink of sleep,
Somewhere where this monster won't seep.
Try to get on higher ground,
Try to keep safe and sound.
Higher Ground
